Our word for this week is COURAGE  

Friendly definition:  

To have courage is to contain your fear when facing danger, pain or the unknown. We can show courage when we are brave. You can show courage when you face the danger even though you are afraid. 

Sentence examples:  

  • The boy showed a lot of courage when he started to climb the steep mountain.  
  • The girl found the courage to sing in front of a crowd. 
  • The firefighter showed great courage when he helped put out the fire.
